02nd may 09 the 11th Merseyside meeting

Let me first tell you a little about what goes on at our meeting !!!

We arrive as the designated time, usualy 17:00 but its 16:00 this time, after looking at the Cars and taking some pics we hang arround weather permiting to greet anyone who has yet to arrive, we all park together in the Car Park so were not hard to find, we then go inside for a drink and possibly have somthing to eat then we just chill out and chat about anything, not just cars, its a cracking night out and its only once a month !!!

Before the end of each meeting we hold the vote for the next Meet location, the last meeting was a 8/8 vote for The TOBY CARVERY in LOWTON VILLAGE, WARRINGTONwhich is straight off Junction 22 of the M6, or Junction 9 of the M62, it has big Car Park and they do a Carvery Meal for just £5.00 !!!

As you may have seen in the lighter evenings and Weather permitting we film Videos when we have the Meet on the Fantastic New Brighton Promenard, the 1.5 mile straight strech of road has 2 lanes on one side and 3 on the other, it is also very quitet making for some fantastic drive-by videos so we can make the most of the engine and exhast sounds !!!

Its only once a month and it gets us out the house for a couple of hours, its now Summer and we can now make the most of the Beer Gardens or Outside Seating of our locations, thats the beauty of having the meet in a nice Pub lol, none of this Standing arround nonsense in a Retail Car Park lol !!!

We have a few basic rules for our meet, this is to make sure we Represent MG-ROVER.org in a good manner !!!

1. NO ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOR
2. NO WHEEL SPINS
3. NO BURN-OUTS
4. NO DOHNUTS
5. NO DANGEROUS MANUVERS (Handbreak turns etc)
6. NO BLASTING SOUND SYSTEMS
7. DRINK RESPONSIBLY
